The rainbow of life

Tonight, I found double rainbows in the sky after tea time.
It had been raining for a long time in Ireland but suddenly it appeared when the rain stopped.
The rainbows were so beautiful that I screamed when I found it.
I had been very depressed and felt down since the rain never stopped for a couple of weeks.
But the rainbow which suddenly came into the sky helped me alot.
I noticed the same thing is always happening in our life. life isn't always easy,we have to pass many hard times. But I'm sure everybody can feel great happiness and joy after passing through the difficult times,as I experienced throughout the rainbows.
It's raining again outside, dull and cold. I don't know when it will stop.
I'm looking forward to seeing the beautiful rainbows in the clear, blue sky over this island.

Has anyone ever heard of the words "I'm standing on my head"?!
It means I'm not doing anything, being lazy and upside down. This words is just saying something crazy that no one would really do. It's just a joke and spoken in Ireland.I wonder if it is used these words in other countries. Please let me know!! Thank you.

What I learned from starbucks today..

We went to starbucks in Belfast today, I was very impressed by a woman who was working in the coffee shop. She seemed like philippine or somewhere from Asian country. She could speak perfect English so I think she has grown up in Ireland or English speaking country.
She was very polite to customers, spoke in a clear voice and always smiling.I haven't seen such a nice worker at Starbucks in Ireland so I was very impressed. Also, she had good confidence.Recently I noticed many people are looking at me in the city, because I look very different from Europian people.I had been stressed from people's attention, but I noticed I needed confidence being myself anytime and anywhere,no matter what people think of me. I am Miki,Japanese, have black hair, can't speak perfect English like native does, but it's me.I have to be proud of myself and enjoy special times with my Mr Chris in Ireland.
That's what I learned today from wonderful, respectable Starbucks woman:)
